Welcome to the Media Centre for County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest Trusts in the country geographically, and the largest in the region, serving more than 650,000 people across County Durham and Darlington.
Our 7,500 staff provide care in our acute and community hospitals, in other community settings and in people’s own homes.
Our facilities include two acute hospitals – University Hospital of North Durham and Darlington Memorial Hospital, a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and community hospitals in Chester-Le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale.
