Wednesday 12 March 2025 marks National No Smoking Day, and County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust (CDDFT) is proud to support this vital health campaign alongside the Smoking Survivors initiative from Fresh, North East local authorities, and the NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board.

Quitting smoking is one of the most important steps you can take for your health, your finances, and your loved ones.

Even smoking just one cigarette a day increases the risk of heart attack or stroke but with the right support, you can successfully quit for good.
