The dedication and camaraderie within the maternity team at Darlington Memorial Hospital were recently recognised by Trust Chairman, Professor Richard Scothon, during his visit to the unit.

Professor Scothon was particularly impressed by the way the team supports one another, fostering a welcoming and nurturing environment for new staff and students.

Despite the often high-pressure nature of maternity care, the team continues to demonstrate positivity and a reassuring presence, ensuring both patients and colleagues feel supported.
