The Chaplains of the County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust invite parents and families living with the grief of pregnancy loss or the death of a baby to come together for a time of reflection and remembrance at the final baby loss memorial service of 2024.

These services provide a supportive and compassionate space for anyone touched by such a profound loss, including extended family members.

Saquib Ahmed, Senior Chaplain at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, said: “These services of remembrance and thanksgiving are for anyone who has been affected by this very sad experience, including wider families and regardless of whether the loss was recent or in the more distant past.”

The special memorial service will take place on Monday 2 December at Bishop Auckland Methodist Church, Cockton Hill Road, Bishop Auckland, DL14 6EN, at 7pm.

This service is open to all, regardless of faith or background, and are designed to provide a moment of quiet reflection, solidarity, and remembrance for families who have experienced such a heartbreaking loss.
