County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is proud to introduce a new range of carbon reduction meals in hospital restaurants, offering nutritious and eco-friendly dining options for both colleagues and patients.

These carefully crafted meals have a lower carbon footprint compared to standard offerings and will be clearly signposted, making sustainable choices easier than ever.

As part of this initiative, a loyalty scheme has been introduced to encourage participation.

Diners who choose carbon reduction meals will receive a loyalty stamp, with the added incentive of a free meal after collecting ten stamps.

The new menu features a variety of delicious and sustainable dishes, catering to a range of dietary preferences, including gluten-free (GF), dairy-free (D), and vegan (V) options:
