During these challenging times we have had to make some
difficult decisions to protect our patients and our colleagues.
This has included putting in place a temporary suspension on
visiting. We understand this can be distressing for both patients
and loved ones and that communication is so important in recovery.
Therefore, we have set up our 'Stay in Touch' scheme.
This means you can send a message / letter and photographs to a
loved one while they are a patient in one of our hospitals. We will
then hand deliver your messages to your loved one to help you 'stay

Messages will be delivered from 3pm every day across our
hospital sites. Any messages received before 3pm will go out the
same day, anything after 3pm will go into the next day's
At the moment we will be running the deliveries Monday - Friday.
If we receive your message on a Saturday or Sunday, it will be
delivered on the following Monday.
Loved ones will receive a message from our teams confirming that
the message has been delivered.
