Advice for visitors

Our healthcare teams are working hard to support our patients and continue delivering the best standards of care. We are asking anyone visiting our hospitals to help us by adhering to our visiting policy. Thank you for your support.


  • Please wash your hands regularly. Clean your hands when entering and exiting any ward or department areas and before and after eating. Hand sanitiser is available at all ward / department entrances.


  • If you are feeling unwell please do not visit hospital.


  • Only two visitors per patient including our emergency departments and no sitting on beds


  • Visitors under 12 are discouraged unless visiting parents or siblings.


  • Please only visit for short periods (maximum of 1 hour) and please allow patients to rest in between visits. Visiting times are shown outside each ward area and on the Trust's website -


  • Please only use mobile phones in permitted areas and please do not take any photos within the hospital or of patients while you are visiting.
