Our training and development team together with practice education hosted their sixth annual apprenticeship awards ceremony to acknowledge and celebrate colleagues who have completed an apprenticeship in 2022 on Friday 10 February.
This event coincided with National Apprenticeship week and was attended by apprentices, line managers, and education providers.
Guest speakers including Chairman, Professor Paul Keane, a prerecorded video message by Chief Executive Sue Jacques and Executive Director of Nursing Noel Scanlon.
We were overwhelmed with nominations for the Chairman's Apprentice of The Year award and Professor Paul Keane kindly chose two winners: Emily Powton and Anthony Donnelly.
The winners of the Chairman's Award, will receive a £50 MasterCard gift voucher in recognition of their achievements.
Today we have 342 current active apprentices across #TeamCDDFT. These are a mixture of developing existing staff and new apprentices starting out their careers in the NHS.
We host a wide range of apprenticeships across all vocations. If you would like to find out more, please email cddft.apprenticeship@nhs.net
We would also like to thank our sponsor Jeff Fitzpatrick of Smart Investments for supporting the event.
Congratulations to all apprenticeship completers and thank you for attending the event.
'The treatment I have received from all the staff has been excellent and could you extend my thanks to them all. A very thankful and relieved patient'.
