Better Health at Work Award

The Better Health at Work Award recognises the efforts of employers in the North East and Cumbria in addressing health issues within the workplace.

The Trust has taken part in the award since 2010 and is pleased to receive the award for another year at the level of 'Maintaining Excellence'. We were also pleased to have been notified that for 2022 we were also awarded 'Ambassador Status', as we have demonstrated a long-term commitment as well as going above and beyond in all stages of the assessment.

The Award Assessor said: "Each campaign has been executed carefully with a great deal of effort and thought going into each one, to do this in such a time is really quite amazing and clear to see that there is a great deal of time, thought and consideration given to staff within the organisation."

A celebration event was held recently for all participating organisations to receive their awards. Health and Wellbeing Advisor Rebecca Toomer (pictured) attended to represent the Trust.

'I am writing to congratulate you on your wonderful staff you have working for you at DMH.'
