Bishop Auckland Hospital chaplains hold special service

Our chaplains are holding a church service in Bishop Auckland for anyone who has been affected by the tragedy of losing a baby at or around the time of birth.

Kevin Tromans, lead chaplain, writes, "This annual service of remembrance and thanksgiving is for anyone who has been affected by this very sad experience, including wider families and regardless of whether the loss was recent or in the more distant past.

"The service will take place at Bishop Auckland Methodist Church, starting at 7.00pm, on Monday, 12 December 2016.   It will last approximately an hour and anyone who wishes to attend will be welcome, and to join us for tea/coffee afterwards."

For further information on the service, please don't hesitate to ring the chaplains at Bishop Auckland Hospital on 01388 545541.

'As I was very, very nervous, I must have been the worst patient ever and they were brilliant with me and I can't thank them enough - could you please pass on my sincere thanks.'
