The children's ward at DMH has received another generous donation of toys.   Children from Ravensworth School in Yarm visited the ward  alongside their headmaster, David Boddy and School Secretary, Gemma Brown to present the young patients with the new toys.   The school raised £300 by holding a series of raffles and small events at social and fundraising events arranged by the Friends Committee.   Years 5&6 children chose to donate to the children's ward in particular because they see it as a local cause and also because quite a few of the children from the school have been patients on the ward themselves.

Jayne Auld the ward manager said: "We are extremely grateful for the efforts of the children and staff of Ravensworth School for this donation."

'Care received was fantastic and I was very well looked after and very impressed.'
