On Friday 9 February, our Training &
Development team together with Practice Education hosted our
7th annual apprenticeship awards ceremony to acknowledge
and celebrate staff who have completed an apprenticeship in
This event coincided with National
Apprenticeship Week and was attended by apprentices and line
Guest speakers included Chairman Professor
Richard Scothon and Practice Education Matron Jane Carr who both
gave rousing speeches.
Chairman Professor Richard Scothon said: "It's wonderful to hear
all of your success stories and the support you have received from
colleagues, friends and family.
"I and the board are enormously proud of you. You are all
amazing people, well done to you all and thank you on behalf of the
