Congratulations to the first completers of the Aspirant Leaders Programme

leaders.jpg

Last year, we launched the Aspirant Leaders' Programme, a series of 10 sessions, co-delivered with Teesside University, that provide current and future Trust leaders with the skills and knowledge required to manage in our complex environment.

Last week saw some of cohort 1 present their "Dragon's Den" ideas for service improvement.

The range and scope of ideas was truly impressive and gave senior leaders some food for thought. All participants drew upon the learning that they had gained and linked it to their ideas.

They presented confidently and their passion for improving systems and processes for staff and patients was evident.

Congratulations to Paula Gray, Alison Brown, Katey Fleming, Corrie Walker, Debra Mellor, Ashleigh Scott, Debra Ritson and Melissa Todd.

If you are a band 6 or 7 nurse, midwife, or AHP and would like to join this year's cohort starting in September, please get in touch with the CPD team.

The Aspirant Leaders Programme forms only part of the #TeamCDDFT staff development offer, which includes leadership and management courses at every level.

Three new courses, open to all staff groups, have been developed and will roll out over the coming weeks.

They are:

  • Leadership Foundations
  • Building your Leadership skillset
  • Moving towards Senior Leadership.

More details can be gained from the leadership development team.

'I would like to thank all the staff for my treatment and their professionalism.'
