Durham University Research and Educational Opportunities

uni part

We are delighted to introduce Lucy Williams as our Partnership Project Manager.

This is an exciting initiative, and one of our first joint posts between CDDFT and Durham University. It is envisaged that this will enable our strategic partnership, building upon the strong foundations already in place.

There are three key areas of focus:

  • Bringing our clinicians, managers and allied health professionals together with academic partners at the university to develop joint research projects and grant applications
  • Maximizing our educational offer, including 'Bridging the Gap' to train our researchers of the future. Sitting alongside that we will explore how we add value to education
  • Championing sustainability, working collaboratively with the wider health economy and local businesses.

'As I was very, very nervous, I must have been the worst patient ever and they were brilliant with me and I can't thank them enough - could you please pass on my sincere thanks.'
