What is a Get Active Physical Activity Drop In?

An opportunity for you to come along and meet a member of the Get Active Team who will talk through the best options available and signpost to a suitable activity.

Who can attend?

Anyone over the age of 16 can come along to a Drop In.

What does it involve?

Additional support and advice is also available for stop smoking, healthy eating, alcohol, mental health and cancer by signposting to other services.

Once all information has been recorded we will talk through the results and discuss appropriate physical activity opportunities available in the local area. One-to-one support is available for those struggling to find motivation.

How long will it last?

The Drop In is available for 1 hour and you can come along at any time during that hour. It will take approximately 15 minutes to record the relevant information. There is no need to make an appointment and no obligation to take part in any physical activity.
