We would like to wish our colleagues, patients and visitors a happy Hanukah!
Hanukkah (Chanukah) is the Jewish eight-day, wintertime "festival of lights," celebrated with a nightly menorah lighting, special prayers and fried foods.
The Hebrew word Chanukah means "dedication," and is thus named because it celebrates the rededication of the Holy Temple ( click here to find out more about the origin of Hanukah).
Chanukah begins on the eve of Kislev 25 and continues for eight days. On the civil calendar, it generally coincides with the month of December. Chanukah 2023 runs from 7 December through to 15 December.
'As I was very, very nervous, I must have been the worst patient ever and they were brilliant with me and I can't thank them enough - could you please pass on my sincere thanks.'
