Hospital chaplains offer special church service (1)

The chaplains at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust invite parents living with a pregnancy loss or the death of a baby the opportunity to gather to remember their child at two forthcoming services.

The first is at Elm Ridge Methodist Church, Darlington, DL3 8DJ, at 3.00pm on Sunday, 5th November 2017.

The second is at Bishop Auckland Methodist Church, DL14 6EN, at 7.00pm on Monday, 11th December 2017.

Kevin Tromans, lead chaplain at County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, said, "These services of remembrance and thanksgiving are for anyone who has been affected by this very sad experience, including wider families and regardless of whether the loss was recent or in the more distant past.   We hold them regularly and the next services will be in March 2018."

Please telephone the Darlington chaplains on 01325 743029 or the Bishop Auckland chaplains on 01388 455451 for further details.

'In recent times, I have utilised admissions to Richardson for respite direct from my fracture clinic, even at weekends. I have never worked anywhere with this efficiency before - it is reassuring and invaluable for the patient.'
