National Apprenticeship Week 2024 – Information Drop In Sessions

info sessions

In honour of National Apprenticeship Week (5-11 February) the apprenticeship team at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust are hosting additional drop in information sessions across our hospital sites.

Apprenticeships are a fantastic opportunity for existing staff to develop and for people to get a step on the ladder for a career in the NHS. They are also a great way to open doors for people from our local community and allow them to earn while they learn.

If you are interested in finding out about any of our apprenticeships, then please pop along to one of our drop in information sessions which we will be holding at the following locations:

  • Bishop Auckland Hospital restaurant - Wednesday 7 February - 10am-12 noon (Apprenticeship week visit)
  • Darlington Memorial Hospital restaurant - Friday 9 February - 12:30-14:30 (Apprenticeship week visit)
  • Darlington Memorial Hospital Restaurant - Friday 15 March - 12:00-14:00
  • Bishop Auckland Hospital Restaurant - Wednesday 10 April - 10.00-12.00
  • Sedgefield Community Hospital - Wednesday 10 April - 13.00-14.00
  • Chester-Le-Street Community Hospital - Tuesday 7 May - 09.00-10.00
  • Shotley Bridge Community Hospital - Tuesday 7 May - 11.00-12.00
  • Richardson Hospital - Tuesday 7 May - 13.00-14.00
  • Weardale Community Hospital - Tuesday 7 May - 15.00-16.00

Both the training and development team and the practice education team will continue to visit all of the above sites on a regular basis so if you cannot attend these sessions, please look out for future dates.

Alternatively, email with any questions or enrolment requests.
