Congratulations to Imam Saquib Ahmed who has recently been awarded his MA degree with distinction in Islamic Studies and Pastoral Care.
This degree, awarded by Newman University in Birmingham is one of the first to have been awarded to a healthcare chaplain. Saquib has been studying diligently and quietly for the past two years and we are delighted with his success.
From the beginning of January, Saquib becomes the trust's full time head of chaplaincy services, taking over fully from Reverend Kevin Tromans with whom he has been working closely for the past year.
We wish Saquib well in his new role and look forward to the team's continued flourishing under his leadership.
'I would like to thank all the staff for my treatment and their professionalism.'
