To mark the 75th Anniversary of the NHS, your local hospitals are taking you behind the scenes to find out more about local services.

County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is inviting our local communities to join us as we mark 75 years of the NHS.

Our three main hospitals will host an open day to share with you news and developments from across County Durham and Darlington on local health care and services.

There will be the opportunity to meet with Trust leaders and other teams as well as take a look behind the scenes of some of our services.

The open days are taking place on:

  • Tuesday 4 July 1pm-4pm Darlington Memorial Hospital Hollyhurst Road Darlington DL3 6HX
  • Wednesday 5 July 1pm-4pm University Hospital of North Durham Prospect House Prospect House Aykley Heads DH1 5TS
  • Thursday 6 July 1pm-4pm Bishop Auckland Hospital Cockton Hill Road Bishop Auckland DL14 6AD

The open days are free to attend but booking your place is essential as spaces are limited:

  • To reserve your place for the Darlington Memorial Hospital open day please book via Eventbrite.
  • To reserve your place for the University Hospital of North Durham open day please book via Eventbrite.
  • To reserve your place for the Bishop Auckland Hospital open day please book via Eventbrite.

Please be aware parking at our hospital sites is limited and we would encourage visitors to use public transport where possible. Our car parks accept cash payments only.
