NHS careers day success

Durham Works coaches are qualified careers advisers who work closely with schools, colleges, and employers in County Durham to ensure those they support receive the best information, advice, and guidance available.

On Monday 3 June, we welcomed staff from Durham Works to Darlington Memorial Hospital to support the work they do.

They got to meet #TeamCDDFT representatives and learn about various roles within Theatres, Dietetics, Finance and Catering.

Durham Works coaches were given presentations, took part in activities to learn more about what our colleagues do as part of their day-to-day responsibilities and they even got a behind the scenes tour of our kitchens!

This was a great chance for them to grow their knowledge and take back information to support the young people they work with.

A huge thank you to all colleagues who supported this event.
