One Stop Healthcare Support Worker Recruitment Event Successful

success

On Saturday 16 March, the Practice Education team, Resourcing team and the Widening Participation team all held a one stop recruitment day at Darlington Memorial Hospital.

More than 70 applicants attended and 47 appointments were made to Healthcare Care Support Worker posts at University Hospital of North Durham, Darlington Memorial Hospital and Bishop Auckland Hospital.

This was the second event of its kind held here at CDDFT, following the success of the first event last November.

A further event is being planned for Bishop Auckland and will be held in May.

We are looking forward to the 47 hewalthcare assistants joining us here at #TeamCDDFT who will attend a robust induction programme with opportunities to access an apprenticeship pathway into careers in nursing.

'Every aspect of my emergency care was dealt with quickly, efficiently and professionally with full explanations and compassion from all staff involved'.
