The weekly pop-up fruit and vegetable stalls continue to be successful at Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham and this week has extended to Bishop Auckland Hospital.
We are thrilled that we have been able to provide this initiative to support the health and wellbeing of our colleagues, patients and visitors.
The stall will be near the main entrance at University Hospital of North Durham on Monday's and Thursday's and at Darlington Memorial Hospital on Friday's, please note that the stall has now moved to the consultant car park which is directly opposite the main entrance and the ambulance drop off.
A four week trial at Bishop Auckland Hospital will start from Tuesday 7 November. This stall will be situated to the right hand side of the main entrance of the hospital and will be there every Tuesday. At the end of the trial period, Passion 4 Fruits will determine whether this is a viable option going forward.
The stalls are available from 7am until 4pm.
All NHS staff on production of their ID will receive 10% discount on purchases. Patients and visitors are also be able to purchase from the stall but will not receive a discount.
We're hugely grateful to Passion 4 Fruits for providing the pop-up stalls.
