Thank you to all supporting us during Healthcare Science Week 2024

science week.jpg

Healthcare Science Week ran from Monday 11 March to Friday 15 March this year.

During this time, the Pathology department celebrated the work they do, from sample receipt, preparation and analysis through to generating high quality results and interpretation, aiding with the diagnostic and treatment pathways for our patients.

We are lucky to have such a talented team of Biomedical Scientists, Clinical Scientists, Associate practitioners and Healthcare Sciences Assistants, in addition to the wider healthcare science team.

Thank you to everyone who came to the tables and supported the team on Wednesday 13 March - they all enjoyed getting their faces out there and meeting you all.

Whilst the MELISSA Bus events were unable to take place due to mechanical issues, we hope to rearrange these public engagement events later in the year.

'As I was very, very nervous, I must have been the worst patient ever and they were brilliant with me and I can't thank them enough - could you please pass on my sincere thanks.'
