Well done to CDDFT dementia champion

diane.jpg

Diane Waddell has been a dementia champion since 2020, she is a great advocate for the holistic care, especially those with a cognitive impairment.

Last year she ran a raffle and cake stand to raise fund, this year a memory walk.

Diane is presently working at University Hospital of North Durham x ray department and has opted to take on the dual role of dementia and learning disabilities champion, thank you Diane for all your support.

'I have to compliment everyone on their pleasant persona and their expertise and knowledge. By the end of the 5 days, I did not feel as though I had been in a hospital ward and was very relaxed.'

Patient, Ward 16 Orthopaedics, University Hospital of North Durham
