A huge well done to all of of the runners who took part in the Mini and Junior Great North Run and the Great North Run over the weekend, in challenging weather conditions.
102-year-old local hero, Bill Cooksey, became a record breaker with a time of 5 hours 41 minutes - crossing the finish line with his friend Gavin and our Chief Executive, Sue Jacques. All in support of our CDDFT Charity to raise vital funds to support patients and colleagues here at the Trust.
You can watch Bill cross the finishing line, please see HERE.
What an amazing achievement for all who took part!
