Wellbeing for Life - another success story.

The Wellbeing for Life team continues to do a fantastic job in supporting people to live well across our communities.   This great work contributes to the improvement of both physical and mental health for those who require help from the service.

Billy Collins recently contracted County Durham's Wellbeing for Life service "he struggled to do things with his grandchildren and had  a wardrobe full of clothes that he though he would never be able to wear again".

 Eatwise

Recently Jordan Colls and Emma Fisher from the Wellbeing for Life team started to do sessions at work with Billy, giving advice on weight loss, healthy eating and fitness.  Billy joined the Eatwise programme where he learnt about different foods and nutrition, picked up recipe ideas and found support from the other group members. Since Billy started the Eatwise programme he has lost an amazing 10lbs.

Billy would like to thank the team and strongly encourage anyone who is thinking about using the services of Wellbeing for Life to get involved!
