World Blood Donor Day - Friday 14 June

blood

Every minute NHS hospitals in England need 3 lifesaving blood donations, that's 3,700 donations a day.

We're a great nation of givers - whether it's making a cup of tea for a colleague or bringing in treats for the team.

Giving is in our blood and its blood we need more people to give to save lives.

On Friday 14 June, we're supporting National Blood Donor Day - we would encourage everyone who is able to, to book an appointment to give blood. You could save up to 3 lives in just 1 hour.

'Every aspect of my emergency care was dealt with quickly, efficiently and professionally with full explanations and compassion from all staff involved'.
