Mr Ali-Khan has worked in Plastic Surgery since 1998, was appointed to the National Training Scheme in the South-West of England resulting in his being appointed Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS (Plast.)) in 2009 and admitted to the Specialist Register in 2010.
He undertook specialist fellowships at the world famous Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge; and the Melanoma Institute of Australia in Sydney before being appointed Consultant Plastic Surgeon in Durham in 2011.
He offers consultations in all areas of Plastic Surgery but has special interest in General Paediatric Plastic Surgery, Trunk; Breast and Limb Reconstruction including Microvascular Reconstruction; and Skin Cancer. He provides clinics and operates at both University Hospital of Durham and Darlington Memorial Hospital.
