I initially trained as an ENT surgeon before switching to radiology to specialise in head and neck imaging. I am vice chair and chairman-elect of the British Society of Head and Neck Imaging.
I sit on the 'Making the best use of radiology' update panel for head and neck, and am a national and international lecturer on the subject, with a number of peer reviewed publications to my name.
'As I was very, very nervous, I must have been the worst patient ever and they were brilliant with me and I can't thank them enough - could you please pass on my sincere thanks.'
