Consultant Cardiologist

I trained as a Cardiologist in Newcastle Middlesbrough and Oxford before joining the Trust.

I am the clinical lead for the cardiac catherisation service in South Durham; I have a special interest in all forms of cardiac imaging especially cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and am director of the Darlington CMR Unit a regional referral service for cardiac MRI.

I am clinical lead for the Trust in Adult Congenital Heart Disease; I am involved in research collaborations with the University of Durham and I direct the cardiology teaching programme for undergraduates in South Durham.
