I commenced training in plastic surgery in 1987 in the UK, and trained in large units in London, Norwich and Edinburgh, culminating in a two year senior registrar post in the prestigious Canniesburn unit in Glasgow. My particular interests lie in hand surgery, having been the first surgeon to develop endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery in the UK. I also practice microsurgery, and have interests in ear reconstruction and lower limb reconstruction.
