Having qualified from medical school in London in 1993 I undertook my Specialist Surgical Training in 3 of the best Colorectal Units in the country working for leaders in this field. I accepted the post of Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at DMH & BAGH in October 2007 my main specialist interests being in surgery for Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Bowel cancer.
I also perform Laparoscopic Surgery.
Having been a 'Regular' serving officer in the Royal Army Medical Corps since 1991 my non-NHS time is spent with the Army training teaching and on deployment.
I am married with four young children.
