My early stage of training was at India followed by Aberdeen, where I did SHO and research fellow role. My registrar training was in the Nottingham region, followed by Fellowship in laparoscopic colorectal surgery at Dundee. I became Consultant Surgeon with special interest in laparoscopic colorectal and pelvic floor work.
My contribution to the research has lead to MD degree, and am currently involved in various multicentre trials. I was the seventh highest recruiter for the eTHoS trial in the country, among more than 25 centres. I have been trained in laparoscopic ventral mesh rectopexy for rectal prolapse.
Trained in Colorectal surgery as sub - specialty of the surgery, underwent fellowship training for targeted laparoscopic colorectal work, obtained MD degree from the randomised controlled trial, familiar with pelvic floor sub specialty.
Can perform laparscopic cholecystectomy; train juniors on general surgical procedures including pilondial surgery, hernia repair and perianal benign conditions including haemorrhoids, fissure-in-ano, etc.
