chiropody to become a medical speciality dealing with the
assesment, diagosis and treatment of the lower limb.
Nutrition and dietetics offer patient assessment, diagnosis,
care planning, treatment and education.
The team provides input to children who reside or attend school
full-time in County Durham and Darlington.
Physiotherapy is a profession that uses physical methods, such
as massage and manipulation, to promote healing.
Health visiting teams provide a service to all families with
children up to the age of five years.
The team is made up of school nurses, who are registered nurses
with specialist qualifications in school nursing.
Children's Trusts are the sum total of cooperation
arrangements and partnerships between local organisations with a
