The community dermatology and minor skin surgery service is part of County Durham and Darlington Community Health Services, specialist services directorate. The service provides treatment and continuing care for a range of skin conditions for e.g. Eczema, Psoriasis, and will support those patients with long term skin conditions by promoting self care. We also provide a service to those patients requiring minor skin surgery. The service is provided from local community venues across County Durham and Darlington, thus preventing the need for patients to attend a hospital setting. All of our GPwSIs - General Practitioners with Special Interest in Dermatology and Minor Skin Surgery - are accredited practitioners and our nurses are all registered with the National Regulatory Body.
