Patients and visitors

Patient

Our aim is to provide you with safe, compassionate and joined-up care whenever you need us. We know coming into hospital can be a daunting or difficult experience so, we hope this information will help make the experience easier for you as a patient or as a visitor.

We want to make your stay in hospital as comfortable as possible and our aim is to provide you with care which answers your individual needs and preferences.

Your involvement in your own care not only helps to make your stay in hospital better, it helps us to learn and adapt our service for the benefit of everyone.

In this section, we've included information about how to find our hospitals, what you might need to bring with you, where you can park when you get there as well as how we are trying to meet your individual needs.

We are always keen to hear your feedback. Your experience counts and we welcome your views. Your views help us to know when we are getting it right, but it is equally important to know when things could have been better for you.

Under the Data Protection Act 1998, you have a legal right to apply for access to health information held about you.

A health record contains information about your health recorded by a health care professional as part of your care.  It can contain notes, letters, results, x-rays etc.  You do not have to give a reason to gain access to records about your care.

'I would like to thank all the staff for my treatment and their professionalism.'
