Shotley Bridge Community Hospital offers a range of healthcare services to support the local communities. The hospital provides outpatient services, has a dedicated cancer care unit, an elderly care/rehabilitation ward as well as other services aimed at promoting recovery and enhancing quality of life.

There is also a minor injuries and illness service Monday to Friday 08:00-18:00 and an urgent treatment centre run out of hours 18:00 00:00 with 24/7 weekend and bank holiday service.
