University Hospital of North Durham food services

Opening hours:

The restaurant at University Hospital of North Durham is open Monday to Sunday 7:30am to 7pm, 365 days a year.

There is no main hotplate service on a Saturday and Sunday but hot snacks and sandwiches are available from the coffee unit in the corner of the restaurant and the coffee Club shop in the main entrance.

  • Breakfast - 7:30am - 11:15am Monday to Friday.
  • Lunch - 11:45am - 2pm Mon - Friday
  • Grab & Go is available every day 7:30am - 7pm

Alternatively please use the Coffee Club take away unit situated at the Rotunda main reception entrance, next to the Royal Voluntary Society shop in the corner.

Sunday - Saturday 7:30am-7pm

Main Restaurant - Level 2. Directly outside the lift area, accessible via stairs or lifts.
Coffee Corner - Corner of the main restaurant

Coffee Club - main entrance.

Ways to pay:

You can pay by cash or card within the restaurant.  We accept most major debit and credit cards using contactless or chip and pin.

There is a cash machine located at the Emergency Department, just past the reception.
